Pakistan: Army poised for full scale offensive against TTP in North Waziristan:

On 24th of May, the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan of Pakistan had announced that no decision had been taken for a full scale military operation in North Waziristan.  But there are many indications that show that the Army is poised to begin a regular offensive soon and perhaps this could happen in a week.

It looks that finally the Pakistan Army had its way in going against TTP camps in South Waziristan despite genuine reservations from the political leadership led by Nawaz Sharief and his Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

China: Kunming Terrorist Attack

Indians who have been facing terrorist attacks for decades will condemn the dastardly attack at Kunming railway station in the early hours on March 2 that took 29 innocent lives. Over 100 people were reported injured in the attack. The masked terrorists wielding fruit knives struck wildly at the people crowding the station. Xinhua reported that a gang of eight “appeared to be expert at hacking people” took part in the attack.
